Question, reflect and consider how four, maybe five generations can work together in today's businesses and organizations. Do you know what each generation prizes about their education, how they handle their money, and how they truly feel about the workplace? How can we move from stereotypical attitudes about each generation to cultures that flourish in difficult and changing times in the workplace? Thoughtful, funny, and inspired strategies for success! (Two-three-hour keynote or seminar; customized to meet your needs; $500.00 per hour plus travel expenses)
We genuinely enjoyed your presentation on the generation gap. We continued to discuss and use the information you gave us during subsequent exercises and many class members emphasized during debriefs that your curriculum was helpful in the understanding of the people we work with on a daily basis. Many superintendents are struggling to find effective principals to staff schools in their districts. More principals are eligible to retire each year, but qualified candidates are hard to find. Every school system has different challenges and priorities for school improvement. Classroom teachers are asking this question: I want to be a principal; what do I need to know before I take the next step in my career? This 4–5-day program answers their critical questions and trains them for the next steps in leadership in specific school environments and how to lead sustainable reform efforts in the district. (Possible Sessions are below. Session 4 can easily turn into 2 sessions. Each Session lasts one day and the cost is $2,000.00 plus travel expenses.)
Effective leadership is vital to school and district success. A recent study by the North Central Regional Educational Laboratory found that 70 percent of practicing principals feel unprepared to be instructional leaders. Just as teachers need professional development to become their personal best, school and district-level administrators profit from job-embedded professional development specifically designed for them. Whether you are dealing with difficult data, establishing a professional learning community, or instituting comprehensive school reform, ASPIRE HIGHER Educational & Leadership Consulting, LLC has resources to support you as you rise above your limitations. Our comprehensive leadership skills can provide research-based learning for principals, aspiring leaders, district administrators, and other instructional leaders. (One to four-day sessions depending on the district needs. Preliminary planning session with superintendent or designee required. Cost is $2,000.00 per day plus travel expenses)
Every principal and superintendent needs a team to guide school improvement. At the district level, the superintendent’s team might consist of other administrators, district department heads, deeply respected teachers, and others who can lead the district forward with integrity and due diligence. At the school level, the leadership team facilitated by the principal might consist of teachers, subject department heads, counselors, and parents and/or students if desired. The goal of this program is to build leadership capacity through shared leadership and its link to student achievement. Presenters will model leadership strategies to help school and district leaders take their efforts "over the top” to increase student achievement. (One-to-four-day sessions depending on the district needs. Preliminary planning session with superintendent or designee required. Cost is $2,000.00 per day plus travel expenses.)
Family and community connections have several outcomes, ranging from increased student achievement to improved school climate to enhanced civic capacity in the community.
While there is evidence that family and community connections can result in positive outcomes many schools and districts rate parent and community involvement as one of their worst downfalls.
We need to let go of outdated expectations and stereotypes to create school, family, and community connections that support a variety of results. Using research-based practices can build a strong family and community partnerships that help all to learn. Present practices in your school will be inventoried by the school leadership team followed by a one-year plan for improved family and community connections created by participants. (One to four-day sessions depending on the district needs. Preliminary planning session with superintendent or designee required. Cost is $2,000.00 per day plus travel expenses.)
